Congrats to Lee. He should now take Brooking's spot. Keith is Phillips guy and though he was effective last year, he no longer makes plays and I would assume he's not back next year. All part of a cleansing of the Phillips regime.

Brookings really showed his age on the pass to the TE late 4th.......on the catch the TE spun inside and Brookings was down to just bending the knees

This guy is the every down rock of the defense for years. What a player. Athleticism and instinct combined with the desire to play hard. Nice second round choice for sure.

I agree. I think his foot slowed him down, but man he just can't get anywhere. When Sean Lee went out I thought we were gonna be done for.

I want to see Lee get more playing time too, but to be fair to Brooking he was playing on a strained left foot.

As I said during the draft, we got a great steal with him in the second round. He was a fantastic player at Penn State and has all the makings of a great LB in the NFL. With time he will only get better. But we saw a flash of what's to come.

I'm excited.
