You can just see a difference in the defense. He can also tackle in the open field. He is basically our qb on defense out there

I think you mean OVERstated.

But to be fair, Run D still wasn't great. Its just cowboys O was so awesome, that it made their Run game moot. But Pass D was pretty good though on flip side.

They were down 21-0 in a blink of an eye.

They spent the rest of the game spreading us out with some odd runs up the middle sprinkled in with Jackson did a good job on.

Still it is 3 weeks in a row where we gave up high ypc.

I watched Lee to see how he handled playing with that big Q-Tip on his arm, and you can definitely see that it affected him when trying to make tackles. He couldn't wrap up and drag the players down the way he usually does, so it did have a negative impact on his game.

That said, I thought he still played pretty darn well overall...and I would much rather have him on the field at 70% of his effectiveness than rely on the Bradie and Brooking show. Lee has instincts and quickness that our other ILBs just don't have (Carter excluded). He definitely helps shore up the defense in the middle of the field.

You are correct, no doubt, they spread Cowboys out and ran the ball well. Still was expecting at least like you said, YPC down, but it was very high again.

But thats pertty much only bad point for this game on otherwise a great beat down.

So is Lee going to have to play with that cast the rest of the season?

the club kept him from making a few tackles ...

well, let me correct that.

the club kept him from making a few clean tackles...he still made the tackles, but if he had his hand free, he would tackled for less yards gained on plays.

Sean Lee WITH a club, 4 tackles.

Bradie James, not on the stat sheet (according to NFL.com).

Lee is the man.

He still tackled as well as Spencer did. A man that size got dragged 10 yards for a 1st down by a RB. I'm not as down on Spencer as some but that was just sad. I'm loving me some Lee and I'll be glad when he can play without the cast again.
