In the aftermath of the Brent situation, we now have Lissemore as a starter. For those without the ability to re-watch the game, how did he play overall last sunday against Cincy?

sean lissemore is nothing more than a solid backup.

Cinci is no slouch when it comes to running the ball.
Dwyer may be licking his chops, especially with Pouncey moving back to C.

And that could probably be echo'ed about some members of the OL.

Cinci ran the ball at will up the middle.

Well, he's not a nose tackle.

I think we must have known that for a while

Sean is the perfect rotation guy IMO. Wish we had a few more of him.
Bad?

I really don't see much of anything I like about Lissemore. He's a try-hard, which is rare around these parts, but other than that I don't get why people like him.

He got stood up on double teams. That was the issue and if he cannot anchor then he cannot play nose. I think he is a bit more than a try hard though. He was playing well before he hurt his ankle. He came back two weeks ago and was immediately put on the nose.

I guess we will see.

You think try-hard is in sort supply in Dallas right now?

Lissemore looks like he's still hobbled to me. He's a good player when he's healthy, though I'd rather see him at DE.

I liked Brent, but I like Lissemore too. I'm glad we at least have some depth this far down.

We need to stop with the 300 pound nose tackle routine and get us a 320+ fat body to man the middle. Jesse Williams would be my choice in the second.

I see your Jesse Williams pick and raise you one Daniel McCullers of Tennessee - 6'6", 375 (so, a Ted Washington clone). I know, I know - way too tall for NT. But, you can't teach that kind of size and strength (I know for a fact that Warmack struggled with him quite a bit.

Yeah, I agree with idgit, Lissemore is more of a DE and seeing what's going on with Josh Brent and Jay Ratliff we'd better look for another DT in this up coming draft.

We need to move up and draft a Lotulelei or stay where we are and take a Sylvester Williams.

He played superb last year. And IIRC, he got more snaps than Spears did last season. But, he got hurt this year.

The question is whether or not he can turn that into being a starter or if he's more suited to be a rotational player who can go full bore on passing downs.
