Knew he had a little something with Romo I can see why he wanted to trade for him, But it's only ONE start let's not get carried away he has some nice tools consistency is going to be the difference of stardom or not

He reads defenses well and gets the ball out quickly and moves well in the pocket to avoid the rush.

Can he avoid the bad plays and the impulse throws?

Only one last night and I saw him pull down one pass that he wanted to throw to Barber and he just tucked it under and took a 1-2 yard game. That right there shows promise that he can control that too. I dont think he forced 1 pass last night like a few he threw vs NYG last week.

I agree that is the big test for Romo and that is the ability to be consistent in his play. I was very pleased by what he did last night and that should boost his confidence and his teammate’s confidence in him. Romo will have his bad days as all QB’s do but he has to show that he can string together good performances. After last night I’m more optimistic that he can .

I'm encouraged by what I saw also, particularly his pocket presence and his desire to make the throw.

There were quite a few ocassions where he could have taken off and run, but he didn't. That shows me he wants to complete the pass.

The interception? So what. All quarterbacks make those INTs.

I think the good thing about Romo is we know he has the, er, MOXIE and with Parcells in his ear, I don't think he'll be wild and reckless like Favre early in his career.

Having Romo in there will make our offensive line better just as having Emmitt Smith in made the lines of the 90s dominant.

(P.S., please don't read any more into my comments and comparisons with Emmitt than intended by the statement. Thanks.) :)
