So analyst pretty much said that Sean Peyton's game plan was to spread out that eagles d and that helped Duece get loose and prevented Jim Johnson from dialing up a lot of blitzes. Do we try that next time?

Didn't we try the spreading out nonsense with the 5 WR's, and cost us a sack and a fumble???

I think their QB moves better than ours.

having a smart QB with a quick release sure helps.

Philly had every intangible in the world on their side that Sunday and a Cowboy team that didn't show up to play, their performance was hardly dominating as it was a disgusting and frustrating performance by Dallas. A lot of football left and Philly is known to get up for a Cowboy game and let games slip down the stretch for several weeks after. Who knows, with a win next Monday Dallas could be tied for first place again should Philly lose another one. Tennessee gave Dallas a present today as well, Washington is all but out of the division race, we may have the pleasure of finishing them off.

Exactly. With Romo you could just roll him out of danger but Drew just isn't fast enough.

The game plan was simple. When the Eagles can not blitz they lose. The Saints O line is playing very well. Brees has been getting great protection thus far in the season. He has only been sacked 5 times this season and the Eagles did not get any sacks today.

I think we miss Payton a lot, Palmer just isn't as good. It's nice to see the Eagles play a good team on the road. The sideline shot of McNabb after the Saints made the last field goal was priceless.

Eeeeesh.... I'd rather not start all that jibba-jabba just yet. The same was being said last year and those SOB's came up with a pretty good winning streak to match our complementary lackluster finish.

A few years ago (if anyone remembers) it (spreading the field) was how teams beat the Steelers. You don't necessarily need to go 5 wide... 4 wide at least allows you to still run the ball and offers one additional blocker just in case.

that was sweet wasn't it?

shows how much of a team player he is..

other quarterbacks are usually standing watching the action or going over the next play with the o-coordinator.

Don't forget their QB (Brees) was a free agent. The boys of course were not interested.....

The saints didn't win cuz of their gameplan. They won cuz of their execution of their gameplan.
