Sean Peyton to Rams?

There are also rumors that Broncos coach Gary Kubiak may retire at the end of this season. He's dealt with multiple health issues and even missed a game this year because of severe migraines.

That would be a shocker just one year after winning the Super Bowl. Schefter has deep ties to the Broncos (he was a beat writer in Denver), so he has super inside knowledge there.

Other potential surprises to consider are first-year coaches Hue Jackson of the Browns and Chip Kelly of the 49ers, whose teams combined for one win this year. There's also rumblings around successful veterans Marvin Lewis (Bengals missing playoffs) and Bill O'Brien (bad offense, his specialty, and team might miss playoffs) getting the ax.

Rams is an attractive job for any coach - new facilities coming on stream, nice weather and being part of the celebrity set.

That, and they probably have the best roster of any "bad" team.

It's amazing that Fisher was able to stay employed as long as he did.

Always thought he was an overrated schmuck. Especially during the latter part of his career.

Payton to LA would be the best case scenario for Goff. I wonder if there's mutual interest btwn Payton and Denver. That would be an ideal situation for Romo if he were to end up there.

I don't think the team is good enough offensively for Romo, even with a Payton as coach. It will take atleast 2 yrs to turn that shup around.

I haven't been impressed with O'Brien, but Houston clinched a playoff spot last week.

I'm not saying he is some great coach he may or may not be but he did not want Brock Osweiler (smart) but the front office overruled him and gave Brock that ridiculous contract. He had the guts to go to Savage despite Brock having that huge contract. So I would say the offensive problems are not his fault instead front office meddling.

Another good fit for Tony....Payton.
I dont think they would pursue a trade for Romo considering what they gave up for Goff. If we released Romo, I dont think they would be high on his list. Payton may tip that a little, but not enough IMO

Kubiak leaving isn't a shocker at all. Not with his health issues.

Kelly shouldn't even be in the league. Was obvious before he is a college coach.

Jackson isn't going anywhere for several reasons.

Lewis has a job for as long as he wants it. Brown simply isn't going to fire him unless they pull a 3-13 or worse.

O"Brien probably sticks after winning the division and beating Oakland without Carr helps. Next year he better fix Brock or else.

At least his games are high scoring.

Saints are in big trouble if he leaves.

Rams will be better with him. QB plus a top flight RB.

Payton is the NEW 7-9 King!
YEs but I do not know how much influence he has over ALL personnel decisions not to mention if those decisions led to the poor cap management and defensive personnel acquisition.
