Who is reporting this?

Also, are you saying there were 4 people in the house?

Kenjah Hunte, Eric Rivera and 2 others. Cop just called him Jason Taylor.

There's been a confession(s) - - as in multiple.

As I thought, he was targeted, and it was none of the guys from where he grew up.

4 punks from Fort Meyers were suprised by a 230 pound man with a machette and panicked/shot him.

so much for Taylor's previous life-style being his undoing

a wrong place, wrong time situation

Anyone know Florida law and is the death sentence in play.

Probably not as proving the premeditated murder part might be tough in this case.

Great police work in this as they caught the guys responsible very quickly (if this ends up being confirmed).

These young men just screwed up their lives.

The 3 guys that didn't pull the trigger are going to Vick the shooter. Book it.

chances are if they were already ripping off houses before 20, their lives were already screwed up

Well, these young me killed the son of a police chief, the police don't mess around when one of thier own is wronged.

Not to be insensitive here, but thats not necessarily true. These guys heard of valuables in the house from friends of Taylors. The fact that he used to run in such circles and/or associated with these kinds of people indirectly led to this tragedy. He wasn't targeted by enemies as many thought would be the case but having low-life associates with loose lips in his past seems to have come back to haunt him. It really is senseless and its just too bad those scumbags didn't just flee when they realized he was home.

Not neccessarily..... I have met enough people who have done stupid crap when they were younger (yes, including robbing houses) but have managed to straighten thier ways.

From what I heard, it was Taylor's siblings who bragged about his wealth to these guys. I would not blame Taylor's past for this tragedy. It could have been his friends who were bragging about his wealth rather than his siblings. Still, that is not Taylor's fault.

Does anybody really need to brag about his wealth?........................ he was a first round draft pick playing in the NFL. What he makes, at least his salary, is pretty well known.

Why does anybody NEED to brag for this to happen?
