Sean Taylor in Pro Bowl

If there was anyone left on the planet that needed proof that the NFL ProBowl is a joke, here's your proof.
It was already a joke when they announced that Roy made it. Stop being such a homer already. I love Roy (well duh. see my nick) but he wasnt any better than Sean Taylor this season. :)

Wow, just wow.

I hope you are kidding like I was about Taylor being the biggest snub of all time.

You just compared RW's season to Sean Taylor's... did you watch OR even look at any of the stat comparisons?

IF you are for real... you should have stayed at ZERO posts.

I wont try to bash Roy because enough people in this forum have already done it for me, but dont try to act like Roy didnt have a bad season. Stats arent everything especially for DBs but I watched every cowboy game this season and im just calling what i saw.

Where did I say he didnt have a bad season?

I said you cant compare Taylor to RW cause Taylor was absolutely terrible and he is a FREE safety.

ah ok i read it wrong, but damn youre making it seem like our defense was horrible solely because of Taylor.

Not the defense.

Just Taylor.

Roy did not have a bad season.
I won't elaborate, since this has been dealt with exhaustively in other threads, but Roy Williams deserved his pro bowl berth.

You've got to be one of the most ignorant fans on the planet if you think Roy was just as bad as Taylor.

Taylor lead the NFL in missed tackles.

Taylor lead the NFL in TDs given up.

If I'm not mistaken, Taylor lead the NFL in personal fouls.

Taylor had more personal fouls then INTs.

He was about as bad as you can get at the safety position this year. NO ONE was as bad as he was this season.

I was comparing yours to ours.

Consider yours an "F" and ours a "F+", no wait, yours a "F-" and ours an "F". Just because we have WARE.

Man all those times I owned your face in football debates is really starting to pay off Rack.

Im impressed. :laugh2:

Roy was MILES better than Taylor this season.

Roy made FAR more big plays than Taylor did and had far fewer mistakes (touchdowns allowed and missed tackles). Nobody allowed more TD passes or missed more tackles than Sean Taylor did this season, and he made only three big plays -- one interception, one forced fumble for a turnover and one tackle for loss. Taylor flat-out had a terrible season -- MUCH worse than Roy's season.

Taylor did have more personal fouls than INTs (he actually had more personal fouls than INTs, forced fumbles, fumble recoveries and sacks combined), but he didn't lead the league. Taylor was called for three personal fouls. Three players -- Madieu Williams, Robert Griffith and Darwin Walker -- were called for four.

Taylor, in fact, has been called for three personal fouls every season that he has been in the league (so he also has more career personal fouls than career interceptions). Roy has been in the league for five seasons and has been called for three personal fouls -- total.

That is the greatest stat comparison EVER.

haha like i said...Taylor had a bad season and shouldnt be in the pro bowl. Oh well. How about we trade Cooley in for Taylor and you guys send in Newman for Witten.

Why?! The dude has done nothing but be a BUST since he's been in the NFL. Anyone that thinks he's played up to his draft spot is either a blind, ignorant skins fan, or a blind, ignorant fan of some other team. He's done A LOT more bad then good since being in the NFL, and there's probably at least 5 other FS's more deserving of the probowl then his sorry arse.
5 eh? That's a stretch, the pro-bowl for Safeties is a battle between 6 players at most, there just isn't enough talent at the safety position. Maybe Ken Hamlin should be ahead of him.

Busts do not lead your team to the playoffs and win playoff games for you. Now he maybe hasn't played up to a #5 pick, but bust usually describes a Johnathon Sullivan or Peter Warrick.

You wish.

How's Terrell Suggs doing these days? Is he a bust yet?

;)

So you take out one undeserving player and put in another?

Witten > Cooley. It's not even freakin' close to being debatable.

Greg Ellis has been a solid player for the cowboys for years.

He's also a bust. He simply hasn't been a game changer like you'd expect from a top 10 pick. I don't hate the player, but I don't think he ever turned into what he could of been.

OF course Mike Zimmer probably had a lot to do with that.

OMG. I'd like to think that even a Skins fan can see that Witten is better then Cooley.

I shouldn't have so much confidence in the intelligence of a skins fan... I know.
