Quit halfway through his pro day. No reason yet given.

If its not an injury he could very well go undrafted.

Good ability, poor attitude even before today though i dont want to jump to conclusions

Yikes.
He was probably a 7th rounder anyway, but that doesn't sound good regardless of the reason.

Nope. Never liked him much before this. NO reason to change my opinion, based on this news, I'm thinking.

Isn't he the kid that was the top recruit coming out of high school? Committed to USC and then flipped to Miami? Name sounds familiar.

Not a fan but I'd spend a comp pick and let him sit out a year on the practice squad. Who knows, sometimes a little humble pie is best for a kid like this.

More than likely a lot of teams will think like this. I bet there will be no shortage of teams trying to get him signed if he's a UDFA.

Even if there is a reason, some players just have a tendency to always have "reasons" for not performing and then others like Aaron Donald seem to exceed expectations every time they get an opportunity.

This guy has had issues every year in college. I think he missed a least 1 game every year due to conduct issues.

and to think, he had 3rd/4th round grades at one point....but, this will kill his chances

this is an example of where a pro-day can kill your draft status

He replaced you?

Just kidding.

His agent said he was dehydrated. Don't think it really matters. He wasn't going to be any more than a 7th rounder anyway. Now probably a UDFA.

That's why having a million 7th rounders can be awesome sometimes. I would use one of those comp picks and take a flyer on him.

Yes, there is no question that he has the physical ability to be a good NFL player. Very few humans are that big and can move that well.

They would have to be prepared to keep him on the 53 if they wanted to retain his rights. He's the type that wouldn't make it to the practice squad because other would want to give him a try.

Well, if his head is on straight, I think the idea is that he's going to make the roster. If not, you just let him go. Its almost like an all or nothing type of move.

Definitely. It's not like Jeremy Parnell is some world beater. He'll be 28 by camp. I'd rather address the position with an earlier pick and more dependable person, but there are worse things to spend a 7th on than 6'8"/345 lb people.
