If this team makes the playoffs, they are playing at Tampa, Seattle, or San Francisco.

They aren't winning any of those games.

Seattle seems to be the best matchup for us, but they can run the ball well. And Dak would completely fold in that environment.

So you’re saying Dallas should rest starters and take the L because it may or may not impact Philadelphia?
I don't recall mentioning anything about resting starters. We will in all likelyhood be a WC team even with a loss to the Vikings. However another loss for the Vikings puts the NFC #1 seed even closer for the egirls. The question was, is a win against the Vikings more beneficial for the egirls than for us.

The reality is they were never catching the eagles who might lose twice..which would
Mean Dallas would have had to run the table which they weren’t. This loss in the big picture isn’t changing much because they are/would/will have to go on the road in the wild card anyway

No. GB (who lost 5 in a row) exposed our vaunted elite defense. The offense (including Dak) once again choked when it mattered most. Kellen's play-calling when it matters is still questionable at best. This is clear proof of what will happen in the playoffs. Dallas will choke. The season is over. It's just a matter of playing it out.

Also look at the Time of Possession..... the Offense must dominate TOP to help the defense. That's fundamental football. 3 and outs and interceptions will exhaust the defense and cause what we saw in the fourth quarter and OT. The defense has to step up against the run though. It was a team loss and a team collapse. It's what they do when it matters most. To expect any success in the playoffs they have to find a backbone (and have the front office realize that "we like our guys" is not a valid strategy for post-season success).

The season is clearly not over, but it looks like it’s the beginning of another swoon. It’s not going to be easy bouncing back against the Vikings and Giants. If we can’t then the season is going to be pretty much over.

Nah....don't worry about tanking......this collection of overhyped players will do their best to be the failures that they are all by themselves, and ruin another season for the legions of fans. This team cannot beat teams with top-tier qb's, and that will continue to play itself out as the good teams roll over this gutless, self-absorbed group of players and coaches the rest of the season.

This one is really hard to stomach. Dak played poorly, play selection was questionable, the defense was exposed and on top of that we still had a 14 point lead in the 4th, which we allowed to slip through our hands. Prior to last night we had the division in our sights, now I'm not even sure if we will be in a position for a wild card. We are 3rd in our own division. It's not our record that concerns me, it's the weaknesses last night's debacle exposed. My Sunday was ruined and along with it my Monday. Nothing I enjoy more that watching 2 division rivals pound each other into the ground while we sit back and watch after a key victory. That won't be happening. I had fantasized of Washington taking Philly down. Now I don't care. I don't even know if I can bring myself to watch it. Reality has set in. The Eagles (that's right, Eagles not egirls) are better than us. Much better. The front office is better, the coaches are better, the team is better, the whole organization is better top to bottom, although we do have a better stadium. It pains me to admit that. And after some low moments last year our fans showed they are just as bad. This organization needs a top to bottom major overhaul. The Jones Gang can't do it. They have had their chances. They blew it.
