Fish has been telling us their plan since February was to blow it up and build for next year. He claims that they will have 100 million of cap space after they extend Parsons.
So you actually believe they'll go into the off season with an aggressive mind set and sign some real FAs?

. So many inaccuracies and misleading assumptions. Yes, we could create 100m in CAP in 2025. But that's based on maxing out the credit card through restructuring and extending Micah (we've only got $35m atm). Go look at what we've got to replace next year......just in the way of starters:

Tank
Zack
Osa
WR2
J Lew
MLB
RB

Too many holes, too little available CAP......and it doesnt matter how much we've got, the issue is the comparitive amount compared to the other teams in the market. EG: at the moment for 2025 the COMMANDERS have over $120m available WITHOUT RESTRUCTURING ANYONE.....why would any FA, with a choice come to us, especially with Jerry and his sycophants' running the organization.

Yea, but in his mind Jerry was going ALL-IN. Unfortunately, you cant restructure contracts to the hilt AND spend/allocate future CAP/DRAFT capital to und 'this year'.
There's an argument that stripping away the fringes of the roster this last off-season was a sound strategy (especially after GB). Strip it down, a year off and re-group for 2025......BUT JERRY JUST CANT DO IT.....ridiculous comments about ALL-IN compounded by giving out a bewildering contract to star players when the foundation of both lines were suspect at best.

Then this feeling I have, that Jerry didnt draft/sign a RB because, in his eyes, ive spent on a QB and a WR1 they should perform.

We have Dak the highest paid player in the history of the league, a 35mil WR, hall of fame guard, shutdown corner, history making corner on the other side getting ready to come back, best kicker ever and lets not forget the young lion - going to be highest paid defensive player ever also coming back......it's not over!!!

The Gl0ry Hole Jerry has always been talking about.... is the fans, & their wallets.

As long as the cash register keeps cha-chinging, & there are butts in the seats, he'll keep loving him some him.

Not officially of course but in all real practicality. At least based on what we’ve seen thus far.

And with next 4 games in which we’ll be the underdog in all it will be officially over by Thanksgiving .

One of our FO worst jobs in recent memory of mismanaging offseason. Kinda reminds me of 2015 with our RB by committee after letting Murray go and Dez holdout.

That team was set up for failure too.

And to think we could have really had a fresh start next year rebuilding with a much higher pick for QB with tons of Cap space .

Oh well , that’s what happens with a well run FO and organization . Lol
Yup. Are we having fun yet?
Or should we go back to winning 12 regular season games and losing in R1.
I honestly can't decide.

Talking about Jerry and money gives him far too much credit. The brand has been flagging for a decade.

Dallas has simply mismanaged this roster at every turn for 24 months and average fans saw it all play out real time.
Dallas can't even go into fire sale mode because every vet player of any real worth causes an insane dead cap hit.
When they try to get bargains by completing early extensions those guys regress: Jaylon Smith, Terence Steele, Michael Gallup, Dono Wilson.
When they delay and run out the clock on delas they end up massively overpaying to keep great assets.
Its' been lose/lose in roster mgmt.
And the draft has been a plus until recently when you need it most it has veered into very average territory.

Jerry has no plan. He never has.
That's Jerry's plan. I honestly think he's got something wild planned and totally unexpected like a rebuild and Belichick.
How long will Dak sit on the bench before both sides agree to a trade.
I tend to lean towards he has no plan. He’s often said he can only sell or hype one season at a time.

I’ve always thought it’s better to make it to first than never getting on base.
It is, but it's also worse.

No doubt it makes for a more entertaining season, and I actually look forward to the games. This season all I feel is an impending sense of doom.

On the negative side, the fall is much harder. It's painful losing over and over in the first round.

The only real silver lining I've found for this season is apathy, at least to an extent.

Oh please.

You think Dak & Co. are merciful enough to end the season now?

Nooooooooooo!

They'll draw this out till January....get your hopes up a couple more times, make you believe ONE more....just ONE more time that maybe, just maybe......

No sir....they'll make you suffer. No quick death here.

Yea, I’ve been in Apathetic mode for several decades .

But I learned early on in life a little feel inside the blouse is better than none . Lol

And who knows might eventually get around the bases:)
