New Orleans came out ultra-conservative, and Brees was ineffective.

All played into Seattle's hands.

The playoffs is for tough teams. Brady has 3 Super Bowls because he played on tough teams. Look at the other elite QBs who played on soft teams their entire career (Brees, Peyton, Rodgers). They only have one each. Look at guys like Ben and Eli. They have two each. Because they play on smash mouth teams. One of three young guys will win their first Super Bowl this year -- Wilson, Kaepernick or Newton.

Yes playoffs are tough, but an Elite QB would step up. I've heard and seen that posted numerous times here before. Wilson is making plays. What's Brees excuse?

If I was Gruden I would show RG3 that play by Wilson and say to him

"That is how a SMART QB plays"

I think it's about time for the NO staff to start packing the gear for the trip home.

When I watch #Seahawks LB Bobby Wagner I think: If #Cowboys had not traded up for Morris Claiborne, they'd have picked him in 2nd rd in '12

When I watch Seahawks LB bobby Wagner play I think that if he were playing for us he would be known as "soft "

That is the culture Jerry and Jason have created

Seeing Wilson makes me think we should go Johnny Manziel this year. Logically, we need to draft Romo's replacement within the next 3 years. This year's draft class is probably better than 2015 and 2016. But we need an entire philosophy change. We need Jerry to step down, Garrett to hit the road, bad contracts to magically disappear. It's probably just easier to switch teams. But I'm a glutton for punishment.

yep exactly right, no way NO is going to march up and down the field (and score) consistently against Seattle running the ball, NO has to go back to the wild *** passing attack, either way they gonna lose

I guess it just seemed unusually slippery at the beginning of the game. Even for the Seahawks. I can't imagine it being like that for every game.

It's usually not. We get a lot of rain, but it's typically mild and intermittent. Today, it's been coming down pretty hard since this morning.
