I want to take my daughter to the Seattle game on Nov. 1st so we can check out the stadium. I know it's early to be asking but I've never been to Arlington, just the old stadium.

Where is the best place to stay, can I get away without getting a rental car ? Public transport to the stadium or Taxi, shuttle ? If I stay locally in Arlington is there things to do or places to eat ?

Forgive the ignorance of this east coaster :)

I can't think of the name off the top of my head, but I know there's an extended stay-type hotel on Collins on the other side of I-30. I'm sure there are a ton of places off 360, but I've never paid attn so I'm no real help there. Sorry.

I did a search to give you an assist. Here's the results: Check out Hotels.com For future searches use 76011 as the zip code.

No public transport in Arlington. I think you'll prefer a rental versus a taxi.

There are restaurants all over the place by the Stadium, Six Flags, water park (can't think of the name), and the Rangers Ball Park.

There's enough shopping centers nearby the stadium where the locals will happily take your money for the chain department stores.
