Already, as ah was shooting pool at Tim's Bait Shop and Taxidermy in Farmers Branch, ah was dreaming of beginning the early season 2-0.

We is rested and pretty healthy. What can possibly go wrong?

But they is the mighty 'Hawks and, mens, this is what I most fear: Mr. Overconfidence by the players.

But Jason, it seems, knows how to handle this. He is not cocky but neither does he project anything but confidence.

Ah like the way Jason carries hisself. I really hope the Cowboys will look at him and listen to him and learn.

I am predicting this and you kin take this to the bank if baby need shoes and yo mistress wants it to rain this weekend:

The Seatlle D is pretty good. The crowd can easily be a factor obviously with our line taking 1000 false starts. I do believe we win this game, but be careful if you think this will be a cake walk.. Its a tough place to play... The COwboys will show me so much if they play well and win this game, it will show that they are mentally focused and that is something that this team has not been in years

If we play a balanced game and with fewer penalties, I see no problems.

So much is at stake: starting the early season at 2-0 would be such a confidence booster. Starting the early season at 1-1 could mean a pattern of irregular play.

I think we is set. Fewer penalties. Play the balanced game.

Hopefully this team has learned its lesson the past few seasons and comes out ready to play. Last week's win was awesome but it will lose its luster if they lay an egg in Seattle. It is a great time for them to show this team is going to be different.

I know it doesn't matter how we feel as fans and I agree that Garrett will probably keep the players grounded, but I haven't heard/seen overconfidence on the part of any Cowboys players anyway.

Ther are really only a few teams in the NFL where I worry about the other team more than I do about how the Cowboys are going to play. The one place we have been weak in th epast I think is taken care of - the secondary.

With the secondary taken care of, when we play up to our potential we will win the games we should and be competitive with the top teams.

I'm thinking that with Seattle's crowd noise and solid secondary the Cowboys may play a little more conservative on offense and let the defense feed off the rookie QB, let them make the mistakes instead of us....

The Cowboys defense will dominate. If Romo doesn't do a Cutler, the team will win.

Seattle weakness from what I see is their pass blocking. The Cowboys needs to exploit that.

I really expect our defense to give the Seahawks a very hard time.

They're starting either a banged up Russell Okung or his backup at left tackle against one of the league's best pass rushers.

Arizona got to Wilson three times last week without a great pass rush of their own.

I think our front can do better and I think overall we have a better secondary.

Take a look at these numbers and you tell me if this is an offense to fear?

Seattle scored 16 point on 4 drives:

7 plays covering 33 yards for a FG (set up by a fumble recovery at Arizona 42)

5 plays covering 24 yards for their TD (set up by an 83-yard special teams return)

4 plays covering 5 yards for a FG (set up by an interception to Arizona 34 yard line)

4 plays for -5 yards for a FG (set up at the Arizona 16 yard line by a 52-yard return)

The Seattle offense did nothing for themselves and if they weren't carried by the other parts of the team likely would not have scored at all.

I don't mean to sound overconfident, but they do not scare me at all.

I think we own this team, in their place, and the '12th man' is halfway home by the third quarter.

I see more threads and posts with this theme than I do about how we are just going to smash them. I hear about how they can run the ball and have an excellent ballhawking secondary and a solid defense.

There is one major flaw in this line of thinking. They are starting Russell Wilson. We have a secondary and Jenkins is going to be back as well. We are going to be able to blitz the be****** out of him and jam outside.

Rob Ryan is good at scheme and I hope with our horses he can give a rookie 3rd rounder fits mixing up personnel and playcalls.

If we do not destroy Wilson then that speaks to our defense very poorly. If we are going to be a top defense then this is a situation we should dominate.

Yes they are a decent team and we should not be overlooking them by any mean. But they are not a top 15 team imo. We should win without it being closer than 3 points or so..

I'm not really sure how anyone that paid attention to the 2011 season could grow a big fat pair for the 2012 season. No week is a gimmie win in the NFL. If they don't clean up the stupid penalties, especially considering that crowd noise up there, we could see them fighting hard for a win at the end of the game. I think Dallas is the better team right now, but stupid mistakes can kill any team.
