I remember that we started off going backwards on the first drive, punted, and then soon began a clinical job of chopping up the Seattle defense.
I think Hurd made some big catches, early.

No.
Rocky Bernard didn't start, nor did Wistrom, but the linebackers look like the 3 we'll see Saturday. And the secondary may be the 4 guys we would have seen, if they weren't placed on IR.

I listened to the start of that game.
Green returned the kickoff to the 33, and then
1. Romo's short pass dropped by Hurd
2. false start by Colombo
3. Romo dropped the snap
4. Romo's pass high over Fasano's head
5. McBriar's punt shanked to the Seattle 44...

From that point, the game turned around, and Romo began his Hall of Fame career.
