1 yr deal for Big AL. Get AL and Big Hankins.
I don’t see both but I’d get one of them
Just not enough snaps for both
Hankins played about a third of the snaps like woods did in seattle
That’s about all the snaps either would get here so why pay both to split a third of the snaps?

How good can he be when his team thinks he's worth less than a 3.6M cap hit?
SEA just allotted some payroll to new FAs... it's just part of the balancing act that each team has to negotiate for themselves.

Bigger factor to weigh (see what I did there) is outcomes.

Jason Peters, you have anything to add to this conversation? ;)

Woods took beating a sick Frederick and turned that confidence into a good career.

And he would be one of our best DTs.............................I care about production, not age.
Exactly. All these "too old" posts...give me an aging productive vet over a young scrub, especially if it's for an alleged "all-in" year. Which it isn't, but hey...

I think they wait until after the draft. Then Hankins, Woods, Robinson all may be in play. However, they need to get one of these guys now. Then work the draft around them.

However, if they feel one will still be available mid May, he will not count against offsetting a possible comp pick. I feel teams work this into their off-season strategies now.

Because the MLB needs protection at all times. Because injuries do happen. Because I'm not into jeopardizing the run game depending on Big Bohanna. Lastly, they could both play at the same time to clog up the middle for sure.

I get your point, however, I must value the position more, and it's about the presence for me not the snap count. It would be awesome if teams want to throw all game with this secondary Dallas has now, but I look for teams to want to run more at Dallas due to the solid secondary. Why give offenses the ability to attack a weakness that could be fixed fairly cheaply?
