It seems like we have been making good second half adjustments this year which I'm still wrapping my head around. It's something that has plagued the Cowboys for a very long time.

It has been my philosophy that they, the team, has been making second half adjustments all along. In most cases throughout the drought years, the talent wasn't good enough to overcome the other team.

This team has talent.

This will be heresy to some but I thought they needed a bit more in the passing game during the first half. They finished 39/30 run/pass. I like to be closer to 50/50. Too many penalties and the 2 ints definitely made their job in the second half harder. Once Prescott figured out who to target (#30) they made the Giants pay for blitzing. Lamb made some pretty "significant" catches and I'm of the opinion that the TD they took from him was actually a TD. That toe hit first...if even by a nanosecond.

If the toe hits the heel still has to land in bounds per the ref. Didn’t know the rule. I thought the toe was enough

Seemed to me like Dak stopped with the Peyton Manning routine and just executed called plays more than in the 1st half.

The toe is enough if it’s only the toe that touches. In this case, the entire foot ended up touching with the heel barely OB. Hence, incomplete.

Right. I thought toe first was fine. Not so if the heels comes down after

if you are facing the sideline or back of the end zone, then the toes are enough.
If you are facing away looking into the field of play, then it has to be the entire foot.

CeeDee was kind of angled, but facing more inward, one foot was in as it was sideways, but entire foot was in.
His other heel was out.
Now if he could have rotated his foot 180° and do a toe tap. Yeah, TD.

It was a great catch nevertheless. The unfortunate thing was on left, I believe it was Pollard, was completely uncovered.

If you listen to NFL players and coaches, they almost always say adjustments are being made all game. Not just at half.

I read or heard a coach say one time, it may have been Jimmy.
That there really are not a lot of adjustments made. They do get them refocused on the game plan.
At half time I mean.

I remember that happened to I think Dez in a big game at home and the second foot came down and then the heel, almost in the same spot.

I remember him losing a TD because his fingertips landed OB (against the NYG’s, as I recall), but I don’t recall him having a heel OB. I’m getting old, so maybe my memory is suspect…:)

Oh well, we easily scored the next play anyway lol.

No my friend, I might be getting more senile than you. I think the Dez play was the fingers and against the Giants. Always something crazy like that with this team.
