Secret Sauce of the week

The Defense...specifically the DL, more specific Mayowa.
Now people may say but he is expected to be the psss rusher until DLaw returns......wellgo back to all the posts since he was signed and how our D sucks and all of that.....he will be the sauce.....

Dak doesn't just play game manager and shows out. Story of week one.

Hitchens. He needs to be on his game to stop Jennings because the rest of the defense (Lee included) will be busy in coverage. If Jennings makes gashes and gets a rhythm, then that opens up the play action passes for them. We need to keep them 1-dimensional.

Alfred Morris. He spells Zeke and ends up w over 100 yards on a few carries. Trust me.

I can see Swaim getting a Td

Seems to have good rapport with Dak

Their linebackers and safeties are mediocre at best. I say Witten has a big day...especially when they crowd the box to try and stop the running game.

Morris played OBJ well the first game last year, I think he's going to be a surprise. OBJ will win some, but Mo was getting him frustrated last year and could have had 1 or 2 picks.

I think Byron plays well too. He'll probably get toasted nice and burnt but he'll be a visible upgrade over JJ.

We have to get favorable matchups on their LBs and safeties. Collins is still trying to learn how to cover in the NFL and the middle of the field is the only real weakness on that defense. If Swaim gets snaps he'll surprise, since him and Dak have rapport.

Is Irving starting? He could have a decent game. Lee will play well, he has completely owned Eli in the past. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he had a pick this game.

Other than that, I don't think it's really surprising if the guys expected to do well actually do. I think having Scandrick back is really underrated, he helps the middle of the field immensely when he's playing slot. He'll be Cruz's daddy on Sunday.

I'd really like to see us get creative with Lucky to take advantage of their lbs and safeties but I don't expect it.

Morris, Byron, Irving, McClain and possibly Swaim are my picks.

Nzeocha recovers a fumble on special teams and runs it in. :)

Geoff Swaim sets new record for most receiving yards in a single game at 342 yards.
