Shouldn't we give Rush and Elliott and CeeDee a rest?

Someone brought it up before, why not rest our guys this week and then treat next week as playoffs week 1? You get some rest in and build momentum for actual playoffs.

I think you absolutely have to rest players. Not sure of the best approach. With the division title still in reach you may not know until the last week.

If the game truly doesn’t matter, rest injured players.
Everyone else plays….stay sharp, stay focused. An injury can happen in practice. There’s no controlling that. Play to win.

The offense is humming, get a lead then rest after half. On defense the d line def needs rest to find its legs again. The secondary needs work especially with the new bodies out there to develop some cohesiveness.

We play Thursday, before the Eagles.

We can’t rest our players until they win a game. If they win Sunday, we rest players against the Commanders.

I play the starters, Unfortunately we play Thursday night, Philly plays NO this weekend. Should Philly lose this game Cowboys would still be alive heading into the final week. Should Philly wrap up the East after this week then I would look to sit players in the final game vs Washington

Tennessee seems to be resting its horses.

Shouldn't we give Rush and Elliott and CeeDee a rest?
C'mon, ruffians.
We could be one crushing play away from our stars on O and our defenders going down.

Rest!
We are in.

And who would you rest?

(I take back what I wrote to a CZ member today, tha it matters much who we face in the playoffs. When I think of injuries, I prefer to rest our men and take me chances but with a healthy team.)
I don’t like resting players. If you’re injured, well, that’s the difference you never come back as strong prepared is the better word.

That’s the intelligent plan. But I don’t think I would rest players unless they’re injured. Well, maybe a little hurt too.

Thursday I play it like a meaningful game. Last week of the season? I think it is a fine line but I lean towards giving starters a chance to rest since we do not get the bye week. I have my starters getting ready for Tampa Bay. I would dedicate the 2 weeks on Tampa should the Washington game mean nothing. Should the race still be in doubt last week of the season they you bet I would play the starters and be pulling for NY

As long as they still have a shot at the 1 or 2 spot no rest. If Philly wins against the Saints. We rest the last game and they will get extra rest from playing on Thursday.
