I'm not sure if this has been asked and posted on the forum, if so please forgive me for tge redundancy. Can Gregory play some LB? I ask because having D Law, Hardy , Hardy ( if we sign him) and possibly a high pick DE on the field at the same time could be murder's row. We could put Crawford at the 1 and kick Hardy into the 3 and my dream of getting Bosa in the draft to play end or vice versa

Why would you want him to play LB? He is a pass rusher

Yeah tank started the season off slow and was "almost tank" for a while but lately he's been either getting home or being very disruptive. He's been good in run D too. This really was his first full season and one can only expect him to get better next season. Just need Gregory to end the season on a good note then maybe we can feel confident that we may have 2 young starting cornerstone DEs on this roster. Let's just hope Gregory can adjust to whatever weight he puts on in the off season.

Just was thinking about trying to get as much talent on D on the field as much as possible.I was looking at the Broncos they had D Ware and Von Miller and the QB had issues trying to avoid those two coming from all directions

It would be interesting to see if he could play the type of position Von Miller does in the 4-3. I doubt it will ever happen though. I don't know if we'd be willing to create an entire defensive package just for him.

I would rather we sign Hardy to a 2-3 year deal decent money, draft DE in second rd and possible FA DT.

I like the idea of signing Hardy but I don't want us investing a second round pick on another DE when we need a legit WR opposite Dez, a real strong Safety, a QB to groom, and a RB to share carries.

I hope we have invested enough in DE's to not keep drafting them early.

Another offseason in the weight room for Gregory will do wonders. I sometimes have trouble locating Lawrence because I keep remembering him as the scrawny DE from 2014. Dude bulked up a ton.

I think the high ankle sprain really slowed Gregory this year and if he can keep his head on straight, put on 20 pounds of muscle and stay away from bad influences and the weed, he could make a real giant leap and impact next season

If he's going to put on 20LBS of muscle in one offseason, he might need that whacky weed.

The defensive line is coming along nicely. Just need to add a hog in the middle and add some depth each year and we'll have great foundations in both trenches for years.

I think the ankle issue really set back Gregory. For a guy who's game is based on quickness an ankle is a big issue. Dlaw has had the year I expected and to me about the year Gregory will have next year
