I have decided that with part of my tax return I deserve a new wrist watch. :)
I have owned Seiko's and am familure with their quality. But I have not had a Citizen.
I am concidering the following..........

Seiko Mens Gold Tone Watch. $495.00

Men's goldtone Kinetic stainless steel watch with a see-through Lumibrite dial. Luminous hour markers, second hand, calendar/date display and water resistance up to 100 ft.

And these..................

Citizen Mens Eco-Drive Dress Watch. $350.00

Striking men's Eco-Drive dress watch with a champagne colored dial. Water-resistant up to 100 meters. Link band for a comfort and secure fit. Perpetual calendar on the dial.

Citizen Mens Eco-Drive Chronograph Watch. $475.00

Eco-Drive men's Blue Angels watch is powered by any light source so no batteries are required. 4 year power reserve, 22 time zone and calendar display. 99 minute countdown.

Anyone have experiance with these brands? Comments? Ideas?

Go Pats!

Both are good watches as I have owned Seiko and Citizen...

I would go for this instead...

I have owned a Seiko watch before and it was fine. Cant' go wrong with a Seiko. However, I would recommend some other brands first particularly if you are willing to spend that much money.
.
Classy watches that are inexpensive are Kenneth Cole watches and ESQ. i would go with those before buying a Seiko and I think they are cheaper than Seiko's too? Check them out.

Also, look at Raymond Weil watches. Those are $1000 dollar watches that usually have good deals in the 400-500 range. They sell them at Sams Club and Cosco on occassion for reduces prices. Those are really classy watches....they have Sean Connery 007 written all over them.

Of the watches you listed, I would go with the Citizen Mens Eco-Drive Chronograph Watch. I don't like gold anything. I think stainless steel or silver looks better in my opinion.

I did. they are a bit to "metrosexual" for my taste. Not that there's anything wrong with that. ;)

I currently have a Wenger Swiss Army watch... they look really classy and range from $100-$250...

I bought my father this one...

I have the exact watch with a black face... we have had them for 4 years now... my dad says it's the best watch he's ever owned...

I never take mine off... it has been in the snow... the lake... the ocean... great watch...

I like both Seiko and Citizen....but not a big fan of the Kinetic watches....my watch comes off as soon as I get home from work, and I do not wear them on the weekends unless I am going out somewhere nice.

I got tired of resetting the time over the weekends, or long holiday weekends.
Now maybe it was just a cheap watch I had, but my cousin said he had the same problem with one of his kinetic watches as well.

Either way you can not go wrong with either a Seiko or Citizen IMO.

Yeah, they are definitely a metrosexual watch and I should have added that but I kind like the metrosexual style so that's me. :)
