I can't believe Mayock has him Ranked 1 with all the quality tackles out there.

Better than Carimi? No way.

Bingo.

Mayock bedazzles people because he'll talk a hole in your head, but he's always been overrated as a draft guru to me.

Solder is terribly overrated and some people want to take him at 9, go figure.

The misconception on him is that he is a former TE and people think he is athletic, but he's not. He loses his balance and lets his feet get too narrow in pass protection.

Winner, winner, chicken dinner!

People who think single incidents here affect careers haven't watched too many of these. I recall when Steve Hutchinson, the former All-Pro guard for Seattle and Minnesota, gave up a sack right as the announcers were talking about how he'd never given up a sack all year. Of course, the announcers were so bad they never even noticed their mistake.

The NFL Network crew is vastly superior..

Practices are more important than the game anyway. Don't forget that Dan LeFevour was the MVP last year.

Not impressed with the play of Solder so far.

I think he is good. It's impossible to be perfect.

I just can't believe he bought into Solder. The guy is a bigtime project and overrated as a athlete.

People question Carimis feet but praise this guys? I say based on what.

no OT in this draft is worth to be picked with the # 9 pick. All are more bottom part of 1st round and 2nd round.

Mike Mayock is a joke really this guy had the nerve to say that during last year's draft that Earl Thomas, was a much better safety than Eric Berry.

That is when I lost all credibility with him as a draft "expert" btw how come his loverboy Thomas isn't playing in the probowl.

I really like McCarthy from Miami.

I've been a fan of his since he was a freshman.

Everyone likes Von Miller. He is a the Superstar at the SR bowl.

Mark Herzlich is having a nice game at ILB, possible 3rd/4th Round target?

Mayock just said Cameron Jordan should go between 20-32 in the first round. If Patrick Peterson is off the board before #6, are you guys smelling a trade down for Jordan?

I'm starting to think we're going to target Von Miller.

Lmao.......

Thomas was much better then Berry this year, so kudos to Mayock for having the balls to make that call.

Only one safety in the NFL got beat deep more then him.

I really am not sure about Jordon and where he goes, he reminds me of Ziggy Hood, Steelers drafted a the end of the 1st round.

he's a quicker, stronger version of his teammate tyson alualu and he had a very very good year for the jags, despite most ripping his selection.

Just Mayock said it doesn't make it so and imo Berry is better than Thomas, but opinions are like *******s everybody has one.

Earl Thomas is a good player and all but Berry has the potential to be a top safety in the NFL and what rookie defensive player has never been beaten by someone.

Not sure where we would play Miller though. Right now he isn't big enough to play OLB, and his main strength is rushing the passer. His weakness is pass coverage and playing the run, so if he plays at ILB, we would be taking away his strengths as a rusher. I think he'll be best suited as an outside LB in a 4-3.

Hankerson WR Miami looks good so far.

So does the little RB from Kentucky- Locke

Its not he was beaten occasionally, but apparently he lead the league in getting beat deep. So Berry has underperformed so far, Earl did play better than him in their respective Rookie years.

Now, having said that, Berry played great in the one and only Playoff game. Earl wasn't bad but didn't stand out like Berry did.

I respect Mike Mayock the most among the "TV" draft experts. He doesn't try to insist he is right or better than anybody. He just says, thats his opinion, and some differ from him.

He was right on money about Darren McFadden and he was right on money about Demarcus Ware, when not many Draft Experts pegged him to be special. At least I didn't hear Mel Kiper and such say Demarcus Ware is a sure fire player in NFL.

He was right on Money about Matt Ryan, when many, including me, thought he was just being a Boston College homer.
