Senior Guy Miller outdid them both Saturday, recording a school-record 4 1/2 sacks in the Rams' 43-10 win over UNLV at Hughes Stadium.
"I'm trying to get four tackles in a game, so 4 1/2 sacks is ridiculous," said Miller, a 6-foot-3, 302-pound defensive tackle from Scott City, Kan.
Miller, who lines up directly over the center or one of the guards, fought off a number of double teams to get to UNLV quarterback Omar Clayton five times.
