I think in every mock draft I've done so far I have included at least 1 underclassmen. Since its hard to guess who will be in and who will be out at this point, I have decided to do a mock that includes only Senior players.

1. Cordy Glenn OL Georgia 6'5" 340lbs Not the same caliber of athlete that DeCastro is, but Glenn is currently playing LT on a team that is about to play for the SEC Championship. He has experience at LT, LG, and RG and has been playing since he was a freshman. He may be the strongest run-blocker in the draft, and is still rather athletic for a man his size. He would be opening big holes for Murray as our LG.

2. Markelle Martin FS Oklahoma St 6'1" 198lbs Good closing speed and the ability to make big hits make Martin a good addition to our secondary. He doesn't always wrap up, but he is good at finding the ball and making a play on it.

3. Ryan Steed CB Furman 5'11" 190lbs If he went to a bigger school, he would probably be a 1st rounder because all this kid does is make plays. He had atleast 2 INTs every year, and finished his career with 14 INTs and 38 passes defensed. He also blocked 3 kicks, and scored 3 TDs on fumbles in his career. Steed is praised for his confidence and competitiveness on the field and his character of off it.

4. Jarius Wright WR Arkansas 5'10" 180lbs Wright would finally give the Cowboys a speedy quick-twitch receiver that could be a threat in the slot. He is not the same return threat that Joe Adams is, but being on the same team Wright doesn't get many chances to return the ball and could improve in this area. He also has more upside as a receiver. Wright is a team captain and has been a consistent producer since he was a freshman which seem to be hallmarks of Garrett picks.

5. Jerry Franklin ILB Arkansas 6'1" 245lbs Franklin is an undersized player in the middle of the Arkansas' defense but he is a tackling machine with the ability to get to the QB. He is strong against the run, but struggles in pass coverage. Could end up being similar to Bradie James, which isn't bad in my opinion.

6. Quentin Saulsberry OL Mississippi St 6'2" 300lbs Saulsberry has played everywhere but LT, and finished his career playing C. He lacks the size and strength of a road-grader, but he is quick out of his stance, and he has good balance. Good development swing OL that fits in with Garrett's philosophy.

6. (Comp Pick) Frank Alexander DE/OLB Oklahoma 6'3" 260lbs Another high effort defensive player that should flourish in our aggressive defense. Alexander plays RDE for the Sooners but would be an OLB for us. He's got over 20 career sacks and 6 FFs so he knows how to find the ball and attack it.

7. Damaris Johnson WR/KR Tulsa 5'7" 170lbs The NCAA career record holder in all-purpose yardage, Johnson is electric with the ball in his hands. Unfortunately he was suspended indefinitely and missed his entire senior season because of an embezzlement charge. He was regarded as a hard worker and I can't find any character concerns outside of this incident and this could be a good chance to buy low.

Anyone have any thoughts about this mock?

Some good, some bad, IMO.

1. Cordy Glenn OL Georgia 6'5" 340lbs Not the same caliber of athlete that DeCastro is, but Glenn is currently playing LT on a team that is about to play for the SEC Championship. Looks like a 2nd rounder to me. I think Osemele is better.

2. Markelle Martin FS Oklahoma St 6'1" 198lbs Good closing speed and the ability to make big hits make Martin a good addition to our secondary. He doesn't always wrap up, but he is good at finding the ball and making a play on it.
Good pick. Late 2nd appears to be the right spot for this player.

3. Ryan Steed CB Furman 5'11" 190lbs If he went to a bigger school, he would probably be a 1st rounder because all this kid does is make plays. Good developmental player, but I think you can get him in a later round. I hope the Boys draft a CB earlier.

Excellent pick in the 4th. I like the idea of a returner that also contributes to offense/defense but is not a #1 or #2 at the position.

Good pick. I like this player, but my observation was the opposite when I watched him in 1 game this year. He was all over the place in pass coverage but had some trouble getting off blocks in the run game.

Probably a good developmental player, but they already have multiple developmental types at Interior OL. Probably too short for RT. I would prefer something like another ILB because they don't have much in the way of developmental players at that position.

Sounds good. I seem to recall him showing up in the game I watched. I think I saved that game and need to watch him some more.

Hey, its the 7th round, but at 5-7 he would probably be a 7th rounder without the suspension.

Not bad overall. With 8 picks, you might want to consider a development QB at some point.
