I agree. I just got back from Birmingham. My work held a big merchandise tent at the indy race. i had never really watched it but the indy and grand am races were really cool.

Me too,i used to watch a lot of F1 races back in the day.Nascar is just too boring for me.

They race two road courses a year. Sonoma, CA and Watkins Glenn, NY

It tries to stay close to it's roots, which was oval/circular tracks. Over it's history, they have run a lot of road courses but tradition is where it's at with them

Nascar's been trying for years to attract females and minorities. You can only go so far as a white man only sport.

I think they'll get there eventually. There's absolutely no reason why the best stock car drivers in the country have to all be white guys.
