While living in your own body, and looking at the world in first person.....do any of you feel different from everybody and everything you are looking at from your first person view?

Do you feel like because of this view you have a certain purpose in this life but you haven't figured it out yet!?

Do you feel like because of this view it seems like you are one of gods main guys born for something?

Does the world seem simulated while you live in your body looking out in first person?

Does it seem weird and scary to you that you are in here and everything else is out there?

I expect to receive responses from the clueless such as the jokesters. But at the same time I expect to also receive repsonse from many out there that has been waiting years for a similar question to arise!

How do you feel as you live inside of you, looking out?

The older I get, whatever purpose I feel I may have is much less vague and grand than when I was younger. Maybe something as simple as being a good husband and father, raising children who will be productive participants in building a positive future for the world. And by that I don’t mean my kids necessarily have a grand purpose, but rather that they, and all of us, are simply small parts of making up the world as a whole.

Of course. That's because when we're younger, we're blessed w/ a feeling of importance and invincibility.

At this point in my life I'm guessing that there's no grand purpose for me, that we are just a tiny part of life.

I definitely feel that alot of the simpler things in life such as raising a family the right way could be a main objective. Agree with those points.

The title of the thread set the tone and you took it to a deeper level with these questions. How deep do you want to go with these questions?
I am different. I think I've come to terms with it.
I believe I was born for something and know that I've been kept alive for it. What? I don't know.
The world does not seem simulated but I disconnect from it.
I've got phobias but I'm not scared of much else.
I used to seek answers.
That last one is hard to answer right now.

The older I get the more I realize our knowledge is extremely fractional and that at present I'm just not capable of understanding the complexity of it all.

It's important to have a focus to retain a semblance of sanity.

The universe.

Yeah man that's crazy.

I feel like we are on this earth just passing through, but while at this stop we have to keep ourselves occupied.

If we don't, we go crazy or turn to drugs or other negatives.

The question of existence is an old one, a very old one, and at present has no answer. We guess and we struggle and create ideas of self importance, but we just don't know. That is why I do believe strongly that we must have a purpose and occupy our minds. I would guess that simple human contact is the most important for all.

The last one is a hard one but as a person looking outward I wonder at times is everyone out there the same as I.

I mean I know we are human but do they have the same inner self. Or are there just a select of few on this planet that see the same way i see.

Its freakin weird, wish I could put it into clearer understandable words.

All different, though many similar.

I believe positive and negative people were put on earth to keep it balanced. People wonder why good and evil happens and the answer is because it's supposed to happen.

Preventions of past and future negativities were/are challenges for certain individuals for unknown reason to us.
