Serious Traffic Jam

Nine days. Epic.

Some drivers played cards to pass the time, while others fumed about nearby vendors taking advantage of their predicament by gouging food prices.

Still, some opted to not take detours to avoid farther travel and toll costs.

So, yeah, some waited it out.

I pointed an article about this a few days ago.

It's is absolutely nutty that it could ever get this bad.

Given the fact that I manage Internet Traffic, I'm sure some day I will experience this type of **** off at some point. (I have experienced something similar more than once!)

The lack of proper infrastructure is one of the biggest things that will eventually slow down the Chinese economy, which has been growing at a rate of about 9% annually for some time now. Their roadways, railways, and electrical infrastructure aren't nearly what you'd expect from most industrial western nations. Especially with a population their size.
