This has nothing to do with Lawrences' options. The deal will get done once other 1st round contracts fill in and the Cowboys and his agent have a better feel for what his pay range will be. It typically happens with a pick or two every year.

I think it's possible that he's considering whether or not to get his agent to request a somewhat more lucrative deal than what has already been proposed. That's a commonplace option, imho. It's still very early yet, however. I doubt it's anything to be overly concerned about.
