Raiders starting DE Richard Seymour is questionable for Thursday's game against Dallas with a lower back strain he suffered in the first quarter Sunday. "It's kind of locked on him, like a strain," coach Tom Cable said. "He actually felt pretty good today. So we'll just kind of take it day to day."

Yeah, he's playing at a high level with this being a contract year. I'll never understand why the Raiders gave up what they did for a guy who was in the last year of his contract.

According to Oakland's injury report, former Cowboy DE Greg Ellis was limited in practice on Monday because of an injured knee.

Other Raiders limited in practice were DE Richard Seymour (back) and WR Javon Walker (hamstring).

LB Jon Alston (illness), LB Isaiah Ekejiuba (knee) and WR Nick Miller (shin) did not practice.
