I'm convinced they could make it....

I'm convinced they have continued to neglect the center of their offense and defensive lines.
I'm convinced this keeps them from controlling the line of scrimmage in playoff games when it matters.

I'm convinced this leads to undisciplined play and penalties that dig us a hole we can not get out of in the playoffs when everyone is good.

I'm further convinced our coaches are not talented enough to scheme around not being able to control the line of scrimmage and playoff games.

I long reconciled meself with the thought of Cowboys suffering for several years with the awful Dak-Zeke tandem and eventually getting bad enough to get a real QB in the draft.
It won't be easy, we will possibly go for 30 years with no second-round playoffs.
I will content meself with seeing the rise of Micah, Diggs, Williams and CeeDee and I hope Steele (given the chance) develops.

If a couple of those teams that are ahead of us have key injuries that opens the door for us. If teams go run heavy on us in the playoffs, we now have the DT's (Ridgeway and Bohanna) and the LB's (Parsons and Barr) to stop that. So we need to stay healthy and get smoochie with lady luck.

And afterwards we will have to endure those talks about how much Dak did for this franchise and how he derserved a SB but we never supported him with the right talent.

Haven't they though? Oline has a new 1st round draft pick plus Zach Martin. I'm skeptical Biadisz becomes a Pro Bowl player, but they have invested in 2 of the 3 interior spots and your C is still young enough to take the next step if he has it in him.

DT they have Hill, Gallimore, OSA who are all recent 2nd or 3rd round draft picks. I'd much rather be the Eagles right now when it comes to DTs, but it's time to stop saying this team doesnt have talent at that spot and expect more. It's time to actually develop the guys we draft.

You are not wrong in that those positions need to do better, but I think they have actually invested somewhat heavily in the spots.
