22. v/CLE Troy CB Leodis McKelvin
good-sized CB w/ excellent speed and burst, is aggressive against both the run and pass, excellent punt returner, averaged 17.3 yards per punt w/ 3 run back for TDs in '07, immediate #3 corner and starting punt returner
28. ECU RB Chris Johnson
all-purpose back who is compact, has legitimate 4.3 speed, great burst and explosion, is elusive, and slides well across the LOS to get through holes, excellent cut-back ability, is a great receiver who could line up in the slot, draws visions of Byron Westbrook, also an excellent kick-off returner, the perfect compliment to Marion Barber, and a possible franchise back in a couple of years
2. Michigan State WR Devin Thomas
good-sized WR w/ good speed, is a playmaker, can stretch the field vertically, may need 3 years to truly develop into a weapon, but has #1 potential, and would be well-worth the wait
3. San Jose State CB Dwight Lowery
tall CB w/ great anticipation and ball skills, breaks well on the ball, is very good when he keeps the play in front of him, so would fit in nicely in our zone-coverage scheme
4. Tennessee S Jonathan Hefney
ultra-quick and explosive S, breaks really well on the ball and ball-carrier, is on the small-side, but is not afraid to stick his helmet into the action, matches up very well w/ slot receivers, would provide immediate dividends on kick-coverage units
5. Applacian State WR Dexter Jackson
smaller WR w/ excellent quicks, is a threat to stretch teams vertically, and has great RAC potential, came up really big on the big stage against Michigan, also an excellent punt returner
6. Georgia C/OG Fernando Velasco
big, 325lb mountain of a man, strong, has an excellent hand-punch, is tough to move once he gets his hands on you, possesses adequate quickness, also could be a good in-line drive blocker at OG
7. Ole Miss RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis
squatty back who runs low, possessing a great center of gravity, is shifty, has good burst, is good picking up the blitz
