It wasn't just one play, he got close several more times hitting QB at least twice just before he got rid of the ball. He also had a sweet tackle for loss and had a key tackle on ST, otherwise the returner would have had a sure 6.

Jenkins finishes plays. There were a lot of guys who penetrated but could not finish.

He finished with 1 sack and 2 qb hits. Can't wait to see him get more preseason playing time. If he can get a couple more sacks in preseason, he will prob have a spot on the 53.
 
I ran into a Broncos forum and they were talking about how good Dak looked but what shocked me was they mentioned Jenkins and how they saw flashes in him and wondered why Elway cut him.......must be deep there. A guy to watch out for.

I bet they regret it now, they just lost DE Vance Walker for the year.

He has some wiggle and he just got to our camp already showing something!

Please post video because I'm pretty sure I could post a vid of Thornton getting abused...especially on the Rams first TD. But go ahead...make your day.:rolleyes:
 
It wasn't just the one play. I focused on him after that, & he was a handful all game long. Excellent penetration throughout the game. Still a long shot, but I'm rooting for him. God knows we could use some energy on that horrible D-line.

Thornton made a "handful" of plays??? What is your definition of a play, let alone a "handful"? We still talking football?
