Top rated center, rated between #70-95 in draft rankings.

Was taken #31.

Who's rankings? Kiper's? Mayock's?

Every team has their own rankings.

love him, love his passion, maybe like alot of us around here after 16 years we are just tired of JJ and the way he has run this team.

We could've had a perfect draft and he would find something to be pissed about. Really not sure why anyone cares what he thinks. Unless they enjoy listening to somebody yell and attempt to be funny.

This could be said about 80% of the posters on this board. Just sayin!!!

How freaking hard is it for this fan base to wait and see what these rookies do before we judge them. Shango is passionate but ridiculous most of the time.

omg!

Who cares where he was rated!

The Cowboys needed oline help, they got the best center in the draft to help out the oline and you and others whine about where he was rated?

I swear, some of you posters would vetch if they did not hang you with a new rope!

I can understand that but geez louize you've only got 7 draft picks after the trade to shore up more than 7 weak spots on the team.

He obviously doesn't remember the mid/late 90's where draft pick after draft pick (most high draft picks) were wasted on "need" picks to shore up the DE position. I shake my head when I think of all of them.

The reserves behind Ware and Spencer are a big concern for me, but I understand the situation.
You wouldn't have had to keep wasting pick after pick (most high draft picks) on DE position,if the person making the picks knew what he was doing.

OK.

And?

I used to see his videos all the time, but his antic got old. He's never, NEVER happy. We re-sign romo, it's a bad deal. We go 8-8, we should have been 4-12. We stick to our board, we have the worst draft ever. How about letting these kids get on the field before we judge this draft class? .
I hear everybody complain that Shango is never happy.Well what exactly is there to be happy about the last 17 years.I understand that people don't want to hear anything negative about their favorite team, but come on man, when are people going to get fed up with the way things are being run out there.

They already are fed up. But, guess what? All the complaining in the world ay after day after day is not going to change a damn thing!

Unless you rent a Billboard.

Most of these rankings are by mediots who know about 20 percent of what teams know. These same folks had geno smith, chance warmack, coradelle Paterson, Luke joeckl as the best at there positions. None were drafted first at there position. With the ol run, no way Fred makes it to the 3rd round.

How does NE get a b grade after taking a safety in the 3rd that some of these mediot sites had listed as an UDFA??

I dislike JJ more than most but have no problem with any of the picks except round 2 and that's not because of the player it's because I have no faith that he will be used correctly...I hope I am wrong.

Gosh, and that has been pointed out like a 1,000,000 times over the years.

Well, I could see a need for the TE. He might help out in the redzone...they say the dude catches everything thrown his way.

Could you imagine the fade throw into the endzone with this guy?

I see the talent in his highlight videos. I think he is much better than Fasano and Bennett, I just hope they use him more and scheme to his talents. If not the pick could have been used better.

Well, I hope they do too, and that is part of the fun watching how this team is getting built for what Garrett wants to do. Also, I read that Romo had a part in watching him.

For the first time ever in my time following him, I respectfully disagree with Shango. We received extreme value in the draft and the vast majority are player that will be plugged into roles next year. Those plug ins will improve the over all team disposition along with the additions to the coaching staff on defense and a FA or two that are yet to be signed.
