I'm not going to over analyze the loss. The Pats played their best game all season long. That's what they had to do to beat us. I'm optimistic we will see them again.

Shango was on point when he said that Barber needs to start now. In order to get rid of these slow starts, which are going to kill us against the better competition in the league that comes out blazing, we need to come out blazing too. Barber will punch someone in the mouth from the starting bell to the final whistle. JJ showed on Sunday that he fits the "change of pace" role perfectly. As a matter of fact, had I not known he started the game and contributed to yet another customarily slow start, I would have thought he was exactly that... a change of pace compliment to MB3. Yes. I know this sounds like yet another MB3 whiner's paradise thread but the coaches really do need to look at making that minor tweak to the offense. We're not going to be able to go through the season and into the playoffs coming from behind on everyone. We have got to begin competing from the opening bell.

I hate to say it because I have always like JJ but I think he is nothing more than a change of pace back and shouldn't be starting for us. I think none of us or the coaches want to accept this because of the money he is being paid and how highly he was drafted, but this is the truth. MBIII has shown production everytime he enters the game, bring him in early and let him wear down the defense with his bruisiing runs and spell him with JJ and give him a chance to break the long one when the defense is tired. JJ could also be used on third down screen plays out in space that would give him a chance to break the long one. IT IS TIME WE OPEN OUR EYES TO THE OBVIOUS...

The only bad thing about that is his style, he's a bruiser. You need him in the 4th to wear out defenses, hard to do that when your wore out, resting on the bench.

This is hard for me to say because I still like JJ better than MB3, BUT the Cowboys need to start MB3. Let him play the first series or two. The guy brings attitude to the offense. He doesn't stiff arm, he throws punches. I love that. Get the offense going, then put JJ back it when the line has some confidence. JJ will produce like he did yesterday with those two big back to back runs. I'm not saying to have Barber get more carries than JJ, but have him start and close with some plays in between.

I think the OL is confident blocking for Barber always and only confident for JJ if they've blocked well already that day. Because it seems the OL doesn't block for JJ early. People blame him for running into the OL, THERE'S NO *** HOLE TO RUN THROUGH!

Oh, and we need to run more. Definitely.

it definitely exposed dallas, but showed where they can/need to improve.

Which is worse, loss to the Pats or Bills?
