The thread about the guy winning the Witten jersey got me thinking...


I bet some members have AWESOME Cowboy man-caves. I don't personally have one (tiny 1BR apt), but I think it would be cool if those that do posted some pictures so we could all marvel at them.

So...

Whatchya got?

Not much to tell.
TV, portable DVD player, sound system, dart board (with photos of some of yew), a drink dispenser and an awful lot of vinyle records stacked against the wall as a tribute to the rock gods.
No video games, though, as that is the mark of a nerd.
My PO checks my "eminently habitable" abode about twice a week so the drink dispenser can dispense only water or Mountain Dew for now but she doesn't know about the cases of beer stashedunder the floorboards.
(And she has no idea I put that potato in her car's tailpipe. Boy, was that fun to watch!)
She thinks I am writing a book but the 365 pages all say REDRUM REDRUM REDRUM!

The main walls are Blue & the ceiling and knee wall in the back are silver/grey. Still some work to be done to jazz it up a bit. There is very low light in this room, so it was hard for me to capture the colors with my camera...

where did you find those display cases? been searching for a while for some just like that. do they have lights?

Thanks. Me and a friend did the work ourselves. I did hire out putting the carpet in, as the number of seams needed to get around the center riser made it problematic. Here are some of the "in progress" pictures (me in the red shirt):

IKEA. They have the holes pre-drilled for the lights, but I haven't bought them yet.

Myself, i bought a house a little more than 6 months ago. The man cave is on the to-do list, but it's a ways down the list.

Mine has been a ways down the to do list for years. Such is married with children life... My man cave is Angler's Sports bar on Okaloosa Island.

Yes, I did a 7.1 surround installation using Jamo (pronounced Ya-Mo. Danish company that has since been purchased by Klipsch) speakers. You can see the L,R, and C in the "in progress" pictures. I used In-wall speakers for the sides and rear. Energy Subwoofer.
