Sharing movies after buying off itunes

My friend bought acouple movies off of itunes and i wanted to put them on my ipod, is this at all possible i know if i just hook it up, it puts his playlist on mine and delates mine. but is there a way?

Yes you can (Put ITunes movies onto your IPod), as far as the files deleting that sounds like your IPod is synching. Next time you plug your IPod in check the settings and make sure "manually manage music and videos" is checked, also make sure "Sync only checked songs and videos" is unchecked.

I think you're allowed to share a file with 3 machines.

there are programs out there that let you..."borrow" others music while retaining your own. I know its out for OS-X i'm not to sure about windows though. but i believe if you do the "enable disk mode" you can just copy them to it and wa-lah but im yet again not 100% sure
