“Sharknado 3″ premieres at 9pm Wednesday on July 22 on Syfy, and has already made headlines for casting announcements so whackadoodle that we have no choice but to watch. Honestly, even if you’re one of those viewers who prides herself in only viewing the very best in television programmes there’s probably some part of you — a part of your shadow self, deep down inside — that wants to see Jerry Springer get chewed into hammerhead chum.

No? What about watching Ann Coulter or David Hasselhoff become shark snacks? Or Bo Derek? Mark Cuban, anybody?"

It's goofy, the acting is bad, the writing is bad, but for some reason the thought of homicidal flying sharks brings a smile to my face. After seeing some of the cast members it should be entertaining to watch them turn into shark bait. I for one am looking forward to Sharknado 3, bring on the ridiculousness!

Yeah, they were here in DC filming for a number of days but asked that their filming locations to NOT be announced in advance so that it looked like a fairly normal backdrop of people, etc. and not crowds coming over to watch. Bummer. The day that they filmed outside the White House, I walked pretty close to there on my lunchtime jaunt, but only as close as the Washington Monument. Had I known, I would have made the 90 degree right turn for the short walk over to there. The next day I thought maybe they might be over by the Capitol or somewhere up on the Hill, so I trundled up that way during lunch, but nothing. No idea where they were. Maybe down by the Potomac or something.

I believe in diversity. Today, for example, I will meander over to, oh, the Air & Space museum, and stroll through the exhibits

I have to admit that I have watched both with my son. They are every bit as laughably terrible as one would imagine.

I expect and insist that every person that has contributed to this thread go and see Rifftrax do a live riff of Sharknado 2 later this summer.
Those guys are the best thing going right now.
Support them.

Tonight's the night! Looking forward to seeing all the cameo shark chum. A few I'm looking forward to are George RR Martin(just to see him get a taste of his own medicine...lol), Jerry Springer, Ann Coulter and Anthony Wiener, Mark Cuban

It's gonna be really bad, but I just can't look away
