im happy to see us at number 2....the fans deserve this!!! we've suffered thru some HORRENDOUS secondaries

I think are DB’s are the best.

If Sam Williams plays up to his physical potential and our DT’s stuff the run this defense can be the best in the league AND dominant( give up less than 14 points per game ).

I do wish we would have signed Bobby Wagner for 8-10 million though( like Seattle).

They'll probably be the second best defense in the NFCE.

And look at our depth with Kearse, Wright and Bland. Those 3 chaps could start in many places.
Good chaps all on D.
Injuries aside, this lineup and depth might be our ticket to ride with the Bus Driver and the ferocious Dallas D!!!

I know, right? They have two good CBs in Sauce and Reed, but major question marks at S w/ Whitehead(can't cover) and a Ravens castoff in Chuck Clark, who is OK.

BUFF has the best S tandem in the NFL, and if the question marks at CB are answered, could have the best secondary.

You absolutley cannot have the best secondary w/o high quality S's.

so your saying they need two rookies to play like all pro's to be the best? I agree the problem with the Eagles defense is they lost pieces and need unknowns to fill the holes for them to be the best... we need current all pro's to continue to be all pro's..i'll take those odds.
