If you've watched him kick any with the Commanders, you would have seen that his field goals have not exactly been perfect. I liked him as a potential kicker of the future for the Cowboys but right now, he seems to lack consistency with his kicks. Meaning, not just in whether he makes field goals or not, but rather how it comes off his foot seems to vary per kick.

Of course few kickers impress me beyond their last kick

Not a bad leg either and to tell the truth I feel a bit more confident when he is lining up to kick than I did with Vandy.

Me too! I know that he won't be perfect and that he will miss his some field goals that will get everyone talking about cutting him and finding someone else.

However, when he lines up to kick a field goal, I believe he will make it each time. When Cundiff, Suisham, Vanderjagt, Cortez, etc. lined up, I just had no confidence at all .. just hope.

Grammatica could miss 3 field goals in a game but I'd still think he was going to make it when he tries his fourth. It's just like Parcells said .. I have more confidence in him .. I don't know why .. I just do.

I like Gramatica too. I have some confidence in him but I am not comfortable yet.

Suisham, at the time was better than Vandy though and Jerry would have at least saved this years salary.

In reality you would have been hard pressed to throw away the siging bonus at that time, but performance wise and the problems he was having it would have been justified

I never felt very at ease with Suisham kicking field goals. However, his kickoffs were great!
