Per JasonLaCanfora via Twitter.

Amazing how bad he looked after steroids. I am so glad we didn't draft this punk.

Adam_Schefter: Chargers placed linebacker Shawne Merriman on Reserve-Injured with a calf injury.

Adam_Schefter: This means Merriman must be released by the team when he becomes healthy. Career in SD over.

Adam_Schefter: Distinction to be made here: Shawne Merriman can play again this season for another team. But he is finished in San Diego.

I kind of think shawn merriman is just not too healthy this year. but im still happy we took ware over the roid abuser. I think shawn merriman might still have some talent though.

He will end up going to the Patriots and be a monster then 4 years from now they will trade him for two #1 picks and draft two future All-Pro's. It's the way it works for the Patriots.

I know I just hope we aren't the ones giving up the 2 #1 draft picks for him....:laugh2:

We seem to do the opposite of what the patriots do. Including letting the best players play.

The pats are trading players before the decline. We wait til the decline and then can't even trade them. We should of traded bennet last year for a 2nd rounder the bengals was offering. We should of traded barber the year we drafted jones and choice in the same draft (a waste i was for sure barber might been on the trading block). but what do we do instead give him a massive contract for a part-time player....lol

Miami, Washington, or the Jets would be my top 3 guesses.

Bengals may take him...they're into the head case thing...

He'll be picked up by some 3-4 team that thinks they can still get something out of him. The guy clearly can't play without his roids.

It was so obvious he was juicing, almost as obvious as James Harrison in the Steelers' super bowl year.

You don't go from being an unstoppable force that is unblockable, to mediocre and injury prone all of a sudden unless you're on PEDs.
