Free agent K Shayne Graham reportedly ripped the Bengals' organization last year on Facebook when they wouldn't give him a contract extension.

There's apparently more to the story. Graham is still one of the league's better placekickers, but we can now see why the Bengals are willing to let him go. He's still going to get a multi-year contract on the open market.

I see a lot of comparisons of Folk to Vanderjagt. Both seemed to lose their confidence. The difference to me is that Vandy was a jerk. He was a jerk when he was good and a jerk when he was bad. Kickers don't need to be mouthing off or putting down their respective franchises. Is that what Graham is doing? Maybe. All I know for sure is that he choked in the playoffs.

A loss in confidence is most often what causes a lack in mechanics. It probably started with him injuring his hip. I think he can re-group. He is still plenty young and isn't hard headed like Vanderyjagt was.

I think THAT is it in a nut shell. Once he completely is healed from that (I'm not convinced he was ) I think he can get the mojo back.
