I think we take a look. Anyone else interested?

Shayne Graham-K-Bengals Feb. 12 - 8:45 pm et

WKRC Cincinnati confirms that the Bengals have no plans to retain free agent K Shayne Graham.

The Bengals are dumping Graham, their 2009 franchise player, after one bad season out of the last several. Someone's going to get a pretty good kicker in free agency. Graham is only 32 and offers lots of leg strength.

we saw a sample of his work in pressure situations. pass.

Jerry Jones has previously mentioned that he does not foresee himself opening up the wallet for a kicker...

can we bring in anyone who was not a Dallas Cowboy because they are better than the Dallas Cowboys?

didnt he miss two in the playoffs? we can get someone for free that can do that

I would pay Jerry Jones to let me strap on the pads and miss field goals.

Give me Folk over Graham

I wouldn't take Folk as he is for anything. He'd have to make a dramatic turn around.

They just need to have a steady stream of kickers into VR until they find someone capable of hitting 40 yarders dependably.

You wouldn't be able to live with the guilt if it cost us a game. :D

You're right, but I'd come at a cheaper cost than Shayne Graham and do the same thing :

Janikowski is the guy Dallas should and probably will look at...

I still have bad images of Mike Vandershank.

I really see Buehler doing the kicking

he just got to get used to it again

his stats

Senior
stats were solid during his two seasons at Southern California where he was successful on 26-of-33 field goals (78.8%) and was 117-of-120 on PATs to tally 195 total points while also pinning opponents within their own 20-yard line on 105-of-180 kickoffs with 69 touchbacks,

junior
as a junior after converting 16-of-19 field goals (84.2%) and 52-of-54 PATs (96.3%),
Connected on a season-long 47-yard field goal against Oregon State.
Was perfect on a season-high three field goals (42, 20, 37) along with three touchbacks on nine kickoffs at Arizona State.
Booted a 46-yard field goal against UCLA.
Kicked off 84 times, pinning the opponent inside the 20-yard line 35 times, including 18 touchbacks
06
Hit his only field goal attempt, a 49-yarder, against California to mark the longest field goal by a Trojan since Adam Abrams had a 49-yarder at Oregon in 1998

I'm hoping we use either our 6th or 7th for the new improved Folk...

I agree. At that point in the draft, there aren't very many players that can make that big of an impact immediately. Kicker is a position that it can happen though. I'd rather take a kicker in the 6th or 7th than a TE or some other position that probably won't make the team.

We don't need that soft cracker on the Cowboys.

No doubt I wouldn't take him either.

I fully believe he will turn it around. Fully believe.

I'm tellin ya, Hunter Lawrence as an undrafted FA. I highly doubt that he gets drafted because Brett Swenson, Tiffin and the OSU kicker are all rated higher than him because of their leg strength but Lawrence has impressed me with every kick. Maybe I'm biased b/c I've watched him kick at Texas for two years but he's been money for them. Then he hit a 40+ yarder in the Shrine Bowl and almost won the FG competition in the All Star Challenge.

He'd be worth a workout at the least.

I'd like to but there is something more to the story than just being off a little bit.

I think if it really was something that was solely a mental flub, he'd be in Dallas right now.

Him not being in Dallas and him not being anywhere (he hasn't signed anywhere has he) is a little indication that people know something that hasn't come out.
