Shea McClellan

I wanted to do that trade in my mock, but didn't think it could happen. Instead, I made 3 trades to get McClellin at #32.

Trade #14 for Lions #23 and #54.
Trade #23 for Bucs #36 and #68.
Trade #36 and #81 to Giants for #32 and #94.
Trade #113 for #120 and #188

32 (1-32) OLB Shea McClellin
45 (2-13) C Peter Konz
54 (2-22) OG Amini Silatolu
68 (3-5) OLB Bruce Irvin
94 (3-32) CB Jamell Fleming
120 (4-25) Brandon Hardin
135 (4-40) WR Ryan Broyles
152 (5-17) DE Akiem Hicks
186 (6-16) ILB Noah Keller
188 (6-18) TE/DE Taylor Thompson
222 (7-15) CB Coty Sensabaugh

Love your draft scenario.

Just could not help adding to it. May have to take Silatolu with the first 2nd in any case. And I prefer Fleming's physicality and instincts over Robinson's measurables. Fleming is a much better press corner too. And I love the Miles Burris pick, just do not think he lasts until the 6th. Not only is he able to tackle and cover, he also has pass rush ability as well. Noah Keller is a wrecking ball w/great intangibles and should be available where you originally slotted Burris.

I have no problems with those changes. If Konz is available at #45, I don't think you can pass him up.

Fleming is probably my next choice at CB after Robinson. He definitely plays physical and has a feel for the position. Fleming's unofficial forty was 4.43 and his ss of 3.97 and cone of 6.71 are very good. Also, I consider him a "big" corner at 5'11-5/8", 206 lbs (20 lbs over Dre Kirkpatrick).

I would draft Miles Burris in place of Hardin (4-25) if that is what it takes to get him. He is just a guy I want on the team.

If we can get mcclellan at #45 then that is my perfect 2nd round pick. especially if we get decastro in the 1st. There is going to be a run on pass rushers from mid 1st round to our 2nd pick. I'm not sure who of the OLB/DE rushers will be there at 45.

mercilus
branch
perry
ingram
upshaw
mcclellan

i think they'll all go before #45. Im as much a decastro fan as anyone but i'm beginning to come around to the idea of if you want a pass rusher you better get him early

I think that late 1st early 2nd is the sweet spot for 3-4 OLB. I don't love the idea of taking any of them at #14 and they may all be gone by #45.
