Sheduer dropping like a lead weight

The fact is, the NFL took its mask off and revealed itself with this whole debacle.

It's childish. Like when NBA tried to force players to wear suits on the sidelines.

It's an attack on certain people. It's childish.

I need info that shedeur talks and walks like everyone should bow down to him before I agree with any sort of 'humbling' him attempt.

As another poster mentioned, just cause the media says something, doesn't make it true. So I'll use that excuse now.

So far it seems like it's an attack on a strong minded kid that is into flashiness. Probably more to do with him not allowing others to tear him down.

His production and hype should have gotten him picked higher
The NFL isn't a monolith and the league office doesn't nor can it tell teams who to draft. 32 teams running 32 independent businesses all came to same conclusion about this kid: He doesn't have the talent to be as brash and arrogant as he presented himself during the draft process. Too much bravado and not enough talent to back it up. His dad was the same but he could back it up. Unfortunately, Sheduer didn't get his dad's athletic ability.

You are very misguided, are you still in school? What year?

Do you work for a high profile corporate? If you did u would realize that there is the boss and then there is the employee. Shedeur and his pops thought they were the boss, they found out that they were highly incorrect in that assessment. No childish games at all, just real world corporate life. Plenty of people interview for jobs daily, they are not criminal and they still do not get the job. What is childish about that?
You're into hierarchy and lying about how things are, then pulling the rug out.

You claim boss excuse, but 32 BOSSES trying to win supposedly against each other, pass on a QB prospect...contrary to previous behavior by clubs?

You're talking around a lie, or collusion, or hive mind(collision basically)...You're taking your mask off and revealing its not real and there are forces working behind the scenes.

All you have to say to me at this point to win is, "sorry bout it"

It's childish, as a whole.

Guarantee you the best computer programmer in the world, assuming this is real, doesn't get this the same punishment, if any.

You're moving goal posts, you're flexing. It's immature

Funny. I'm watching Moneyball right now for the second time...

There are pieces in this movie proclaiming confidence is good...a player should have it.

This board is pro moneyball, yet the movie is promoting player confidence.

Total confliction by this board to promote moneyball while the movie also promores player confidence. Total gaslighting attempt as a whole.

Everything is conflicted. It's being unreasonable for money.

Not in school. Glad I didn't wa

Ste more money obtaining a degree that would be a lie and/or inflation rip me off.

It's a lousy scheme. Would never tell anyone to waste money on an education. In my world I would get schemed out of the job being beneficial long term.

Teaching people to go to school, get in debt. And then scam them with inflation or other market pressures is lousy behavior to me.

Promote it though

This his-story I'm am fed, that they want me to believe, is filled with beings lying, cheating, murdering to win....

Bill belichecks team is guilty...

Yet...it's different with shedeur. He wasn't that good.

He wasn't 6'5 with a cannon which has gotten clubs nowhere for a long time.

I take this as a win. No one can justify it without weak excuses.

Lame to say the least.

actually the only weak excuses are yours.

I wish more on here could take it as well as they dish it out. We all want the same thing in the end.
Most importantly to note.....we ain't on Jerry's payroll unfortunately. And we're watching in the stands, on the couch, at grandma's house, at mama's house, etc......that's the real perspective. All good.

Sounds like in interviews he got attitude because one coach asked what he was doing on a bad play he made and attitude when he did not know about an install package.

The media is at fault

The Sanders are at fault

The nfl is at fault

The story is par for the course at this point.

I question if this wouldn't have happened even without the interview claims. I suspect he still gets railroaded to a degree even if he didn't have interview issues.

Seems like most are leaning into the interview excuse.

Saw another excuse about 'the show'. The League sees him as a backup, and no team wants all the media sitting around the backup QBs locket. That's on the media, and...why draft a guy you see as a backup. Doesn't make sense, really.

it only does not make sense to you

Not that anyone cares, but I've changed my view a little in the past few hours.

Still think he got railroaded and collusion was in place...

But, selling a brand most likely means doing things(like Jerry) to keep your face in the media.

It's not guaranteed he would, just like draft picks aren't guarantees, but if a player is constantly doing and saying things to keep his name relative...I could see it being an issue. Especially if you are not a starter.

I blame media mostly, but it's also the players fault if he is squeezing anything he can to juice his brand.

Looks like shedeur has a decent operation going with Legendary...the brand name is out there and he and deion have money to back it. That means shedeur would probably be doing jerry-like things to stay relevant and sell merch.

I don't even know if he is selling merch...just know he has put the Legendary thing out there and has money to back it....if he is trying that angle.

Again, lots of ingredients to consider. Still don't think he was treated right based on QB position and being a low talent QB class.

I think deion took the Jerry salesman school tactics and applied it to his son and it backfired.

Smart to market yourself. Maybe do it differently if shedeur could redo.

The interview stuff, if true, is a bad look. Curious if it could be 4D chess by the Sanders to drum up publicity. If so, it would play into 'the show' excuse.

Seems like some things backfired

So does he show up to camp in his Rolls Royce Phantom?! I’m thinking a Dodge Ram may be better at first.

"Look at me, look at me" is weird.

Unless they are acting above all, hitting on everyone's girl, acting lawless...I don't really get the hate on 'look at me' persona's unless they are acting outrageously cocky.

You can have jewelry and nice cars and money and be confident too, without being a headache.

I guess I need to know what stunts and how many he's pulled to sell his brand before I claim he's gonna be a headache. The deion selling shedeur and the draft party selling legendary aren't frequent enough stunts for me, personally. Red flags maybe.

I agree that drawing attention to yourself is odd behavior. As in, you gameplan your days around drawing attention to yourself
