Thought we might have had some interest. Will be interesting to see what Belicheat gave up for him. Personally I'm guessing he stole him...this is classic Patriots taking someones trash...and turning it around.

After an offseason of Mingo hype pieces touting his increased strength and mass, the hybrid linebacker and pass rusher is on his way to Foxborough via trade, the Browns announced. Cleveland will receive the Patriots' fifth-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft as compensation.

Mingo started 16 games in three seasons, his sack total going from five to two to zero. The Browns' recent first-round picks have not met expectations, as none of Cleveland's four first-rounders taken between 2011 and 2013 is still with the team. Mingo was traded; running back Trent Richardson is out of the NFL; quarterback Brandon Weeden is a backup with Houston; and defensive tackle Phil Taylor is with the Broncos.

Of the team's eight first-round picks from 2011 through 2015, only three are with the team, and one of them -- cornerback Justin Gilbert -- is fighting for a roster spot. Gilbert was drafted in the first round with quarterback Johnny Manziel in 2014.

Ouch.

But why can't Bellicheat turn his own trash around. A lot of busts in his drafts.

Agreed. People pretend the guy is the reason the Patriots are good every year. I don't doubt the guy is a phenomenal coach, but without Tom Brady he would be doing absolutely nothing in the playoffs. Making the playoffs every year because of a garbage division and losing first round. Tom Brady is no doubt the GOAT. When he retires, so will Bellichek.

*Forgot to add, he gets so much praise because he has 10 picks in the draft every year and 1 or 2 actually become something decent. He is no better GM than other top clubs.
