If it was life threatening I'd feel bad or if he was paralyzed. Regular injuries no way. Not when it comes to the Eagles. Injuries are a part of the game and their fans never show any sympathy for us.
Oh that makes sense. Everyone moans, groans and cries about how classless the Eagles fans are so lets stoop to their level. That makes us so much better.

Some hypocrites in this thread. I remember a certain Washington QB being called RGKnee by quite a few posters around here.

Dang. I can honestly say that I hate this. I don't care that Philly is without their starting QB. But I hate to see a young talented kid hurt.

Young talented kids get hurt all the time, it's a part of the NFL. If we shed tears for every young talented kid that gets serious injuries in the NFL we'd all better start stockpiling year supplies of tissues.

This is why one of the most important things to do is protect the QB. Raiders found that out the hard way last year but unfortunately Dallas never learnt that lesson when Romo was here.

Hard luck for the kid. I'm interested to see how this will affect his mobile part of the game when he returns.

i don't feel sorry for philly or their trash fans, but I'm not happy to see a bright young player tear an ACL. It sucks.

This isn't about the kid though.

This is about Philly fans finally getting what they deserve after years of moronic treatment of their foes, primarily us. I laugh hysterically at the Karma they have created. Screw each and every one of you Philly fans from the bottom of my heart. From the cheering of Irvin's career ending injury, to the Bounty Bowls (both of them), to throwing snowballs at Santa, you deserve every ounce of misery life can throw on your fat grease soaked existence. May the rest of your days be filled with suffering and misery you lousy SOBs.

Not going to feel sorry for them one bit. Hey I would not clap for an injury if I was at the stadium but what I do at home is my business. That classless organization can burn for all I care.

Don't think he tore it honestly. Didn't look like it anyways. He walked off under his own power and didn't have a noticeable limp.
Agree. I've never seen anyone who tore an ACL who could walk as well as he did off the field.

From Rotoworld (couldnt link because its from a blurb within espn fantasy since I own him)...Ironically I snagged Aaron Rodgers off waivers while on IR. I had a 1st round bye this week in my fantasy playoffs, hopefully Rodgers comes back...

Spin:
Wentz stayed in the game for four snaps after he injured his left knee, finishing off the drive with a touchdown pass to Alshon Jeffery. While his ability to keep playing may have seemed to be a good sign, Wentz was then ruled out for the rest of the contest shortly after visiting the medical tent. Per ESPN.com's Adam Schefter, Wentz's knee buckled while he was walking back to the locker room, and the Eagles now fear that he suffered a torn ACL. Nick Foles finished out Sunday's game and may be needed as the starter in Week 15 against the Giants.
