Personally I think the Cowboys should focus more on building up the defensive line. You are a lot more closer to having a dominant defense that can carry the team than you are building the offense around Dak.

Rankins is a 3tech, his game has always been centered around quickness, not power. He was touted heavily as the quintessential 3tech here in Louisiana when the Saints drafted him. He then promptly fractured his fibula, tore his Achilles and dislocated his elbow. But hey, evaluation based on “I’ve heard his name before” is how players are evaluated by this board!

what i meant was we should get Hankins back plus add a truer 1T not rankings at that price as we have a lot of options at 3T right now already here.

I don’t think they’d even contemplate bringing in Rankins especially at that price, nor should they. It’s going to depend on how much more than that league minimum someone offers him with Hankins… he spent 9 weeks or so here so his agent is probably figuring his value has at least tripled!!
