Jordan Shipley-WR- Player Mar. 31 - 1:44 pm et

Texas WR Jordan Shipley ran forty times of 4.54 and 4.56 at the Longhorns' Wednesday Pro Day.

Shipley's unofficial times in Indianapolis were 4.57 and 4.60. A mid-round prospect, the 5'11/193-pounder projects as strictly a slot receiver in the pros.

That is pretty much what I was expecting. I like Shipley and if we could get him in the 3rd or 4th I would be pleased with the pick

Seriously though... it's really not "slow." It's amazing how a tenth of a second here or there makes the difference between millions of dollars in draft position.

That and/or size. If he were 6'-4" and 225 lbs then that 40 time would be viewed differently.

True that may say where he gets drafted but it has no bearing on what kind of career he will have. Personally I think who ever gets Shipley will be very happy they drafted him.

I like him in the 4th or 5th. His times don't surprise me.
