Shockey is out tonight

According to Marshall, Shockey's absence will have no bearing on the game; the Saints will simply pass more often, and beat the Cowboys by an even larger margin.

NFLN is even more biased than espn.

I really dislike Marshall Faulk.

Yeah, he is getting under my skin as well.

He is just as bad as Keyshawn. The Cowboys must have really hurt his feelings at some point..

And Shockey had zero intentions of playing this game, he knew we cut Roy.

Not sure why it's a break. We've always owned Shockey.

Either way, without him on the field that's a playmaker we don't have to account for.

Colston and Meachem are the keys.

I think that answers it right there.

This is great news... for us.

I always hated that guy anyway.

I think he's still sore from Ware driving him into the ground back in 2005. Anybody have a GIF? It was the last game in 2005 at Texas Stadium.

A Shockey thread without that gif of him celebrating and then abruptly stopping? I know...give it time...somebody will post it.

Maybe not pass more often, but David Thomas can step right in there. Saints offensive players are interchangeable.

I think his main point was that Shockey has been known as a "Cowboy killer" in the past and to say him not playing has NO bearing on the game is just ridiculous.

Nope, Not Colston and Meachem. The key is the 3rd, 4th and 5th options. Can Dallas' 3rd best keep up with Moore? Can Dallas' 4th best keep up with Henderson? Can Dallas' 5th best keep up with Bush/Bell/Thomas.

It is going to get real scary, 'Boys.

Shockey: "Yeah Saturday baby... it's going down, I can't wait."

Saints Trainer: "Sorry Jeremy, but you're inactive this week."
