Slowdive is coming to Dallas in May.
I have tickets for both Dallas and Austin. Might do Houston also.

First time I've heard of this band and this genre. I like it a lot.
It reminds me of an 90s band that sounds similar called Curve.

I respect Ride, no doubt, but they were my number 3 of the genre. They definitely deserve a place in the triumvirate of Shoegaze! They were great!

You’re in for a treat. Before the next round of Britop (Oasis), shoegaze wasa great British scene.

My Bloody Valentines Lovless is a classic not just in showgaze but amongst the broader spectrum of kickas music.

I know this wasn’t a MBV thread and even linking the greatest showgaze album of all time might be seen as a diminishing of bands like Slowdive and Ride … well, I just can’t help it

MBV was weird because Loveless was insanely good and could never be repeTed
To the point that Kevin Shields, the dude, didn’t even try to follow up for like 25 years.
